About “Love Without End”

It all started when…

Love Without End is an aftercare program that was started with the question, "Where will my dog go if something happens to me."

Love Without End  will give you peace of mind and answer that question, "Where will they go."

Clancy’s Dream Border Collie Rescue will find your Border Collie a wonderful and loving home, with a qualified and thoroughly evaluated and approved adoptive family. Although there is a small one-time donation, it will provide for any medical care that your dog might need before adoption. A letter of intent will be given to you, along with paperwork that you will place with your important papers for your POA or Estate Executive. When needed, they will contact us, and we will immediately take charge of your dog, as if they were our own. Peace of mind means everything, especially for the ones you love so much who can't speak for themselves.

Clancy’s Dream has taken in many dogs who have sadly lost their owners. Here are a few of their stories.

Apollo’s Story …

Apollo was a very smart boy who loved learning new tricks with his owner. When Apollo’s owner died, he went to live with his son. He was not wanted and after a year of neglect, he was taken to Indianapolis Animal Control. He was scheduled for euthanasia the same day he was rescued by Clancy’s Dream.

Today, Apollo is doing great and living in a wonderful home. He was placed with a gentleman who had lost his Border Collie. Apollo’s new Dad is now the hit of the neighborhood when Apollo shows off all his tricks!

Apollo's original owner loved him and had raised him from a puppy; who would ever think that his dog would end up in a kill shelter with only days to live.

Pepper and Powder’s Story ...

Pepper and powder have been together forever. They are 8 years old and have never been apart. When their owner passed away, they were taken to a shelter in Tennessee, where they were lost in the chaotic kennel environment. They had only each other to cling to for support.

In the darkest of times for Pepper and Powder, their disposition remained just as sweet as their faces. When our wonderful volunteer met these lovely ladies at the shelter, they ran right into her arms. They knew she was there to help. They came into Clancy's Dream the day before Christmas Eve. These girls spent a beautiful Christmas: free and full of hope and love at the farm of Kenny Shuck. They are now in their new furever home ... together!

The pictures of Pepper and Powder show how sweet, loving, and gentle they are. At eight years old, they once again know love.

Amy’s Story …

On a summer day 8 years ago, Amy was chosen from a litter of border collie puppies. She was taken home, where she was loved and cared for. Amy was her Dad's "Special Girl." Five years later, her Dad passed away, and her Mom went to a nursing facility. Amy had nowhere to go.

Family friends took her in, but this spirited young gal quickly became a burden to the older couple. The husband told his wife if Amy wasn't gone by the next day, he would shoot Amy. Amy was taken in by relatives where she lived a couple years, until they thankfully contacted Clancy's Dream. Unfortunately, we believe Amy was merely surviving. Her medical care was minimal at best. No heartworm or flea/tick preventative, which Amy desperately needed due to Skin issues and allergies. She was most likely fed a diet that lacked nutritional value. Inflamed callouses on her elbows indicated she was kept on hard surfaces most of the time. Amy's intake pictures are quite shocking.

But, the picture of her with her new Dad is worth a thousand words. Tears were shed when Amy found her "new dad".

Today, Amy is living the good life. She has a new Dad who loves her very much and an extended family.
