Medical Assistance for Border Collies in Need
The level of medical financial aid that Clancy’s Dream may provide depends upon a number of factors including the type of illness or injury, the course of action needed and foundation funds available at the time of the request. Financial assistance to cover treatment is paid directly to the veterinarian providing care.

The Story of Stevie
“My dog has a broken leg and I can’t afford to get her help” . This was a call that Kenny Shuck received right before Christmas and he immediately called the Veterinary Clinic where she was being held. It was a bad break and Stevie would needs weeks of supervision and rehab. Stevie was relinquished to Clancy’s Dream because the owner knew that he could not provide the care nor attention that was to be required. After surgery to repair her leg, Stevie was released to her foster home. It quickly became evident that something was not right and she was in a tremendous amount of pain and would not try to use her leg at all. Orthopedic vets were consulted and Stevie’s foster family prepared for a another surgery that would hopefully remedy the problem and get her on the road to recovery. Within days after surgery, Stevie was cautiously starting to use her leg. It was a joyous site for her foster mom!! Today, Stevie is well on her way to complete use of her leg. Thanks to skillful surgeons, enthusiastic and knowledgeable rehabilitation therapists and her now adoptive Mom & family, Stevie will lead a normal & happy life!
